GrowExx is looking for a bright and passionate Database Warehouse Developer, who will work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and adopt the best practices of DevSecOps-Driven Development to guarantee robustness and stability of the code produced.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and developing data models
- Prepare plans for all ETL procedures and architecture
- Validating results and creating business reports
- Monitoring and tuning data loads and queries
- Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data
- Provide support to the SDLC
Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of the same - Monitor data warehouse work and provide subject matter expertise
Key Skills
- Strong proficiency in ETL Pipelines
- Understanding of the underlying storage engines and how data is maintained in the warehouse.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery, Warehousing
- Knowledge of Data modeling and database design
- Metadata management and repository usage
- Experience in Database schema creation and management
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and upgrade procedures
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
- Ensuring data integrity – Be able to maintain various data checks and deploy multiple types of database integrity including entity integrity, referential integrity, check constraints, and database triggers
- Ability to plan resource requirements for future growth
- Experience with Snowflake/ Apache RedShift/ RedBricks
- Knowledge of limitations of the Database being used and how to implement workarounds as needed
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git/SVN/SourceSafe)
- Ability to create stored procedures and triggers and a clear understanding of the performance trade-offs
- Ability to create scripts for automation purposes.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years as a Database Administrator or similar roles
- Database logical and physical design, BI design, data source analysis, overall data management
- Expertise in different O/S such as windows, Linux, UNIX, Solaris
- Expertise DB modeling tools & concepts
- Familiar with Business Intelligence tools
- Engineering Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

- Must have good logical reasoning and analytical skills
- Good Communication skills in English – both written and verbal
- Demonstrate Ownership and Accountability of their work
