Growexx is seeking a dynamic Principal OIC Specialist who brings strong technical expertise in cloud integration and low-code application development, coupled with presales experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to design and implement robust integration and application solutions using OIC and VBCS, while actively supporting business development through demos, RFP responses, and client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) between Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, CX) and third-party/on-premise systems.
- Build end-to-end data pipelines to support data warehousing initiatives, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
- Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to ensure timely and accurate data availability in ADW or FAW.
- Implement and monitor integrations using OIC adapters, connections, orchestration flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and message-based communication.
- Optimize integration and data movement performance for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Maintain robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and alerting business-critical integrations.
- Ensure secure data transmission and compliance with organizational data governance policies.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
- Document integration architecture, interface designs, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop responsive web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS, including REST API consumption and business object modeling.
- Extend Oracle SaaS applications by building VBCS-based custom UIs and embedded apps integrated with OIC.
- Ensure VBCS apps follow performance, security, and UX best practices.
- Deliver product demos, PoCs, and technical walkthroughs to support presales initiatives and respond to RFPs.
Key Skills
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, adapters, orchestration.
- Proficiency with Oracle VBCS: UI development, JavaScript, business objects, visual flows, and API integration.
- Familiarity with Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) and their integration and customization points.
- Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data transformation logic.
- Understanding of data warehousing (ADW), BICC, FBDI, and OTBI for data movement and reporting.
- Experience with Agile practices and tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins is a plus.
- Ability to work with XML/JSON, integration logs, debugging tools, and performance monitoring.
- Should have worked upon proposals and bills of material for OCI, VBCS along with OCI.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise integration and app development using Oracle Cloud tools.
- Experience supporting presales cycles through demos, documentation, and client interaction.
